on my deathbed, i'll sing songs of second birth, so proud and strong, just like i did at the first, when my naked body, still slick from the womb took its first true breath of air and sang, though it didn't know the words; "i am alive," it claimed, "i am timeless, boundless, beautiful."everyone, gathered 'round so close that no empty space remains, will smile and let the sound carry, broad and wide, and the easy harmony of my content will soothe unwelcome tears from every eye; this subtle passing will be a chance to reflect, in moments, on the whole experience of life. one day, i will die when the sun rises.
