i want to explore your body;
it swings like branches in the wind when you move,
makes me wish i lived closer to the forest.i want to feel your skin, turn the shadows off and on,
meet you in the daylight, know you in the darkness,
when our daytime pretenses are gone.
i want the sound of heavy, rasping breaths,
both sweating in the industrious heat,
until our able bodies fail.
i want the easing as our respective scents fade,
and the chill of early morning soothes
the eager ache.
